Increase Starting Amount 2.5 TDI AAT (96)

I read the post about how to increase the starting amount for a TDI. Now my question is: how exactly does that work with an AAT, and in what increments can you increase the amount? 1, 10, or 100? Which value makes sense?

First, perform the login procedure using the login code (for the engine control unit).
Then, adjust the value of the adaptation channel using the "Function Adaptation" option.
The step size is 1. The maximum and minimum values vary from one STG to another.
