Connecting the wire causes the alarm system to activate when the door is opened.
It is triggered immediately by a (Polish) key press.

That's already a step forward...

In newer VW models, this is already standard: It's done using the key.

Other doors or the tailgate could be opened! "What are you doing?"
If it's anything other than what it should be, the alarm will trigger!

When you remove the door panel, you will see a wiring harness.

The quiz question is simply what the question is and whether it can be answered without knowing the colors.
It can be easily identified by knowing what to look for.

Alternative: Disconnect the lock and detach the cable from the microswitch.

Um... then the interior lights won't turn on anymore if...
Is the door being opened, or is this a different line?

Thank you for the tips.

More likely the opposite, in that case it won't work anymore.

Guys... get yourselves a good insurance policy, and just don't leave expensive things lying around in your car, then everything will be fine. Everything else is nonsense; a car is not a safe, and it never will be.

Also, that's my opinion too.
and then simply follow the car on vacation icon_biggrin.gif.

The cost of living is also lower there, and maybe you can even get a good rental car that you're already familiar with!

Just out of pure curiosity: I couldn't find any prices on the website. What do you consider to be "small money"?

Hi,

That will probably cost around €500, including installation. I'm familiar with this from a unique BMW.
