Hello, I have a VW Golf 1.9 TDI with a VP37 engine. Are there any other types of fuel that can be used in this engine without any issues?

Yes, everything complies with the DIN EN 590 standard.

My 1Z survived the attempt to run it on (almost) 100% Aldi oil.

I also run my AFN (agricultural fuel nozzle) with 100% vegetable oil! However, a corresponding conversion kit was installed to heat the oil. In winter, the vegetable oil is mixed with diesel, depending on the temperature, in a ratio of 70:30 to 50:50. Of course, there is always a risk involved, and you can find information about this in the relevant forums: www.fmso, www.fmpo.

Hello,
The Pöl is working great, see signature icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif.

There are even risks at some gas stations icon_wink.gif.

My motto is: He who dares nothing will gain nothing.

Best regards to everyone in Pöhlen.

Hello,
There are likely significant differences depending on the location.

I recently paid 0.69€ per liter for soy milk.

I buy rapeseed oil directly from the farmer in 20-liter containers.
It might not be as convenient as a gas station, but on the other hand, a liter of rapeseed oil only costs 0.58 cents.

I only use this for longer trips, and then I fill it up at Aldi for 75 cents per liter, and I put a lot of plastic in my yellow bag icon_sad.gif.

However, I often get a lot of attention icon_lol.gif, and even the Luxembourg police were very interested in how it works technically } when they saw me refueling.

But the gas station in the neighboring town also costs 71 cents, and you have to register, and so on...

Since I'm still experimenting, the registration process feels too cumbersome for me.
