I've been driving a Sharan TDI with 110 horsepower for about 4 months. It has climate control and a standing heater.
Even in the summer, after driving 30 kilometers with the air conditioning on, my children would still complain ('Dad, it's so hot in here!').
The vents are barely emitting any cold air (they're only negligibly colder than the outside temperature).
Right now, during (almost) winter, I sometimes use the standing heater in the mornings.
After a 20-minute warm-up period, the heated areas are a maximum of 20x10cm in size, and you can't feel any warmth inside. It's only after about 20 kilometers of driving to work that I start to notice some warmth. If I didn't have seat heaters, I would probably already be frozen.
What could that be?
Could the thermostat be defective?
'It's clear that the Sharan has a relatively large interior, and it takes longer than a normal car to cool down or heat up. However, what's strange is that no warm or cold air is actually coming out of the vents.'
My other vehicle also has Climatronic, and it heats and cools exceptionally well.

What about the engine temperature?
Is she at 90?
Regarding the climate control system, I can only advise you to replace it with a system that uses environmentally friendly refrigerants. All you need to do is replace the gas.
The difference is enormous. When you turn it on, it starts blowing out ice-cold air after just a few seconds.
Good luck!

Yes, the engine temperature actually reaches a normal 80-90°C relatively quickly.
I'll try out the tip about using 'fckw'.
It's incredibly annoying!
Thank you for the tip.

Hello,
If you switch to a different refrigerant, you absolutely must also replace the filter drier. Furthermore, a proper filling process includes not only the refrigerant but also the refrigerant oil. Tschüss

I'm not familiar with either the Sharan model or air conditioning and auxiliary heating systems, so please correct me if anything I say is inaccurate.
I can imagine that the pollen filter/cabin air filter is so clogged (e.g., with leaves) that no air can get into the interior of the car.
Or any other train is causing problems.
Do the fans spin up quite a bit? How strong is the airflow at full fan speed?
In my old 3-series AAZ, I once had an entire ant colony walking around in the engine compartment. Don't ask me how they got in there. (The car had been parked in a backyard for almost a year before that.)

This is automatically handled by the workshop.
Okay, here's the translation:
"Just do it."

Hi,
If your car doesn't get properly warm or cold , it's likely that the interior fan, for whatever reason, isn't working correctly. Either the bearing of the fan is stuck, or there are foreign objects inside.
Is there any noticeable airflow coming from the nozzles?
Regards,
Andy.

Hi!
Who is putting CFCs in my system? I thought those were no longer used...

Hmmm... That's a good question. A friend of mine who works at MAN made one for me. But you're right, it probably won't be officially available anymore.
But maybe if you ask nicely. After all, there are still plenty of older cars that use refrigerants and that cannot be retrofitted.
They would also need the ozone-depleting substance again.

Hehe: That's not true! Either you adapt or don't do it at all.
However, there are already solutions available today that are compatible without requiring any modifications.
