I have a digital boost pressure gauge on my engine, which indicates overboosts up to 2.3 BAR. I have connected the boost pressure sensor directly next to the original boost pressure sensor. I thought that's where VW would have done it, so I did the same. The hose to the sensor is about 10 cm long and secured with zip ties (fuel hose with woven covering). This issue occurs both with and without OBD tuning. I heard that it's better to tap into the boost pressure sensor near the intake manifold, close to the exhaust recirculation. Is there something to that?
