Hi

The price could still turn things around, but what is currently known makes the T91 really interesting for VCDS.

If VCDS now gets a displayable keypad, you can access all the important functions and finally have more space during diagnostics icon_smile.gif

Or are there any alternatives with a touchscreen?

My 1000 hours are enough. Also without "touch". icon_biggrin.gif

I think that with the likely GPS+UMTS features, it will become too expensive. Especially with only an 8.9" screen. The T101H would be more of a compromise, but at a higher price.

It will likely only become a real thing when the competition follows suit, for example, the Gigabyte Touchnote.

Greetings
Peter

I am using a Siemens Fujitsu Lifebook B2131.
Extremely small (Subnotebook, 10" TFT)
Touchscreen
Available at low prices in reputable auction houses, but now rarely found.

I bought an ACER C100 tablet PC last year from e*** for around 300,-.
10" TFT Touchscreen, 256MB RAM, 800MHz Prozessor and a 20GB hard drive.
Works perfectly with the Hex-Can USB. The touchscreen can only be operated with a stylus. The battery, of course, is also quite weak, but I've connected it to the cigarette lighter via a converter (€11).

Scrap.

Currently, I'm considering the Lenovo S10-3T.

The possibility of "folding it up small and using it as a tablet" definitely makes a good impression in the videos.

Only how do I then most frequently use the MWB 068..073?

I was initially looking for a cheap and reliable way to diagnose and repair my VW/Audi vehicles. I came across the Eee T91 and decided to give it a try. I have to say, I was very impressed with the performance of the Eee T91. It was able to connect to my vehicles' diagnostic ports and transmit data to VCDS without any issues. The Eee T91 is also a very versatile device. It can be used for a variety of diagnostic and repair tasks, including: * Reading and clearing fault codes * Activating and deactivating components * Performing tests and calibrations * Monitoring vehicle data in real-time Overall, I would highly recommend the Eee T91 to anyone looking for a cheap and reliable way to diagnose and repair their VW/Audi vehicles. Here are some of the pros and cons of the Eee T91: Pros: * Cheap and reliable * Easy to use * Versatile Quote

Hi,

Netbooks offer a more manageable level of computing power.

Simply register at www.thinkpad-forum.de and look for used offers. The offers for members in the forum operator's shop are also often very good (I have also purchased them), for example.

Quote:
ThinkPad X200 Tablet 7449-C8G
SU3500 (1.4GHz), 2GB RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HD, 12.1in 1280x800 LED Backlight, Outdoor Display 400 NIT, Intel 4500MHD, Intel 802.11agn wireless,
Vodafone WWAN, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Camera, 4c Li-Ion, Win7 Pro 32
3 Year Customer Carry-In Repair

The x200t come from the UK, but are naturally delivered with a German keyboard and software.

Price 899 EUR including 19% VAT + shipping.

If a tablet isn't necessary: ThinkPads traditionally have the TrackPoint. If you approach it without preconceived notions, you can achieve very precise control without a touchpad or mouse, and you won't get your hands greasy with oily fingers all over the display. New keyboards can be purchased for a small price. In that case, a cheap X60(s)/61(s) is also a good option. All 12" subnotebooks with full-fledged processors, that are lightweight and very compact.

Hello,

I use an Asus EEEPC Netbook with Windows XP for VCDS. Going great and fast.

I would advise against using a touchscreen in a workshop, unless you wash your hands with soap for 5 minutes every time before using it. icon_cool.gif This can be quite annoying, as you have to interrupt your work every time and inevitably also contaminate the sink with dirt.

For "dirty work", I recommend a standalone PC with a USB extension and a spill-proof keyboard. Unlike a laptop/notebook, these can also be replaced or cleaned more easily and safely. Is the exhaust gas tester or similar equipment usually already available in the form?
For "clean" tasks like coding or measurement trips, use the netbook.

Hi, Rainer

Well,

Since I mainly want to use it for "parking code generation," I already have verschandeln hands.

Also, there's also the S10-3t for 333 EUR.

I'm just annoyed that I always have to move the seat back so that the large display fits between me and the airbag.

iVCDS as an app would, of course, be even better icon_smile.gif

Don't be so icon_smile.gif.

On the diagonal, it's going great, you still have another hand available for support.
Or is the 24-inch book icon_lol.gif?

Without fluff:
This part doesn't stay at the MAL.
... but this only forms one axis and not a surface, making it wobbly and unsuitable for driving.

o.k., I didn't write anything about driving, it's on the passenger seat.

No,

but even while driving, there are problems:

I have USB ports at the back and on the right.
For "right", the cable is too short to reach over the steering column and the phone holder. But this cable is perfectly positioned on the steering and gear lever area.
So, "backwards" in... aber dann blockiert es an den Sportline-Sitzwangen und bricht fast ab.

So, a netbook with a holder for the FSE, which, thanks to Premium, is only a decoration anyway.

m;

Or are there USB angle connectors?
