Hi.
The price could still change, but based on what's known so far, the T91 sounds very interesting for VCDS applications.
If VCDS now gets a displayable numeric keypad, you can access all the important functions with a touch, and you finally have more space when diagnosing .
Are there any other alternatives with a touchscreen?

My 1000H is enough for me. Even without "touch".
I think that with the likely features of GPS and UMTS, the price would become unattractive. Especially considering the 8.9" screen. The T101H would be a better option, but it would be even more expensive.
It probably won't become a real trend until the competition follows suit, for example, with something like the Gigabyte Touchnote.

I'm currently still using a 701... it actually works wonderfully for that .

I am using a Siemens Fujitsu Lifebook B2131.
Extremely small (subnotebook, 10" TFT).
Touchscreen.
They used to be cheap and readily available at auction houses, but that's hardly the case anymore.

I bought an ACER C100 tablet PC from e*** last year (for about 300 euros).
10" TFT touchscreen, 256MB of RAM, 800MHz processor, and a 20GB hard drive.
It works perfectly with the Hex-Can-USB. However, the touchscreen can only be operated with a stylus. The battery is, of course, already weak, but I've connected it to the cigarette lighter via a converter (for about 11 euros). VCDS

Spit it out.
Currently, I'm considering the Lenovo S10-3t.
The possibility of "folding it down small and using it as a tablet" definitely makes a good first impression in the videos.
How do I enter the most frequently used material numbers 068..073?
Greetings.

Hi,
A Lenovo X60t or X61t might also be interesting. While they are only available used, they can be found at quite reasonable prices. These are subnotebooks with CoreDuo or Core2Duo processors, offering significantly more processing power compared to netbooks.
Simply register at www.thinkpad-forum.de and look out for used offers. The offers for members in the shop of the forum operator are also often very good (I have also bought things there), e.g.
Quote: | ThinkPad X200 Tablet 7449-C8G
SU3500 (1.4GHz), 2GB RAM, 160GB 7200rpm HDD, 12.1in 1280x800 LED backlight display, outdoor display with 400 NIT brightness, Intel 4500MHD graphics, Intel 802.11agn wireless.
Vodafone WWAN, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Camera, 4c Li-Ion battery, Win7 Pro 32-bit.
3-Year Customer Carry-In Repair.
The x200t models are manufactured in the UK, but they are, of course, supplied with a German keyboard and software.
Price: 899 EUR including 19% VAT + shipping. |
If a tablet isn't a must: ThinkPads traditionally have the TrackPoint. If you're open-minded about it, you get a very precise control system without a touchpad or mouse, and you don't get your screen covered in greasy fingerprints in the workshop. Replacement keyboards are available for a small price if needed. In that case, a used X60(s)/61(s) is a good option. These are all 12" subnotebooks with full-fledged processors, and they are lightweight and very compact. Gruß

Hello,
I use an Asus EEEPC netbook with Windows XP for VCDS, and it works great and is quite fast.
I would advise against using a touchscreen in a workshop setting, unless you wash your fingers for 5 minutes each time before use. For some applications, this can be quite annoying, as you have to interrupt your work every time and inevitably contaminate the work area as well.
For "dirty jobs," I recommend a standalone PC with a USB extension and a dust-proof keyboard. Unlike a laptop or notebook, you can easily and affordably replace or clean the keyboard without much risk. It's often already available in the form of an exhaust gas tester or similar device.
For "clean" tasks like coding or data collection, the netbook is the ideal choice.
Best regards, Rainer.

Well,
Since I mostly plan to use it for "parking lot coding," I'll probably keep my fingers clean anyway.
In addition, the S10-3t is available for 333 EUR.
It's annoying that I always have to move the seat forward so that the large display fits between me and the airbag.
iVCDS as an app would, of course, be even better . Transparency, Teamwork

Don't act like that .
It works great diagonally on the MAL, you still have a hand free to support it.
Or is that the ei 24"-Book ? Gruß

No nonsense:
The part doesn't stay on the MAL.
Maximizing the length in the "MAL" direction and the gear lever position creates only a single axis, not a surface, which makes it unstable and unsuitable for driving.

No.
But there are also problems when driving.
I have USB ports on the back and right side.
"For the 'right' side, the cable is too short to reach over the steering column and the phone holder. However, this way the cable is perfectly positioned within the steering and shifting area."
So, I tried to put it "in the back," but it got stuck on the Sportline seat bolsters and almost broke off.
So, a netbook with a holder for the car stereo, which, thanks to the premium features, is now just a decorative item.
