VCDS 1507: Missing ASAM data?

Hello,

During a scan of my Polo's control unit, I received unusual error messages indicating missing ROD or ASAM data – see the attached files for addresses 03, 15, and 55.

Interestingly, the ASAM dataset that is being criticized is located just a few lines above it.

I'm writing this because VCDS is asking me to send the Autoscan data to RossTech or the distributor.

BTW: What do these ROD and ASAM data actually mean?

This is roughly equivalent to the label files, i.e. Control unit descriptions, measurement data descriptions, etc.

Version 15.7.0.0 should generally be used with caution (see /viewtopic.php?p=224853#224853).

Can I install VCDS DRV 14.10.0.0 alongside version 15.7.0.0 on my "Logtop" so that both versions are functional and don't interfere with each other?
If so, what should I be aware of?

When installing updates, you sometimes get prompts like "Uninstall old drivers?"
Should I then choose "do not uninstall"? Or is that only asked if the update is installed in the same directory as the old version?

You can leave the drivers as they are.

With this, you will no longer receive any error messages in the Polo regarding missing files, and the basic LWR (Low Voltage Range) setting will also work .

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing the same problem, and I don't have access to any previous versions to try and see if they work better.
