Another crazy idea:

Retrofitting Attica

The Insignia and Scirocco have that feature.

The older B-Corsa models, in their "Sport" or "16V" versions, also had something similar.
The other day, I was also thinking that the Corsa's rear spoiler is somewhat reminiscent of Hucho's optimized design for the Fiat.

What I don't understand is why the rear wheel wells haven't been closed off with a plastic cover and a few screws yet. Is it due to insufficient cooling of the brakes?

Perhaps no one wants to look as unattractive as a Citroën CX.

Yes, but which one?

"It's like a diesel: you have to preheat it for ages until the engine starts, and then you have to pump constantly until the hydraulic suspension is raised."

My neighbor once had something like that as an XM! Oh my God, so many things broke down on it! It was a big one with a diesel engine of more than 2 liters (I don't remember exactly how much), and I felt sick during fast driving icon_redface.gif. It felt like being on a SHIP!

Okay, I have Rainer's fuel-saving tuning system installed, and it really makes a difference! You save more fuel with it than you would by just attaching a small plastic part underneath.

Okay, now it's my turn! I think the Citroen CX, BX, or XM are absolutely gorgeous. Truly divine cars...

When dealing with older French cars, it's important to remember that what isn't there can't break. Engines and transmissions (without automatics!) usually lasted a very long time. However, the Hydractive suspension systems required a lot of maintenance. But when they worked, they were truly ingenious!

Another philosophy that the French have pursued for a long time is to build inherently unremarkable engines in aerodynamically optimized vehicles. These vehicles are then either fuel-efficient or, compared to their engine power, quite fast.

Then my suggestion: A fuel-efficient, robust VP-TDI engine, combined with Rainer's fuel-saving tuning, and a long 6th gear in the French chassis - voilà, and you already have a super fuel-efficient car. icon_lol.gif In my Bulli, "there's also a French part - the transmission." icon_cool.gif
