I can probably confirm the latter: My Lenovo has 4 USB ports, and after the interface recognition procedure on one of the ports, I tried plugging it into a different port -> there was no new recognition procedure, but it continued immediately.

I also have a Lenovo (X60s) with 3 ports. Therefore, it is likely that it depends on the chipset (Intel GMA 950).

Hmm, does the "Turbo" button not appear at all in the measurement blocks, or is it just not clickable? What happens if you use the English 908.0 version? It can be easily installed in parallel.

Your edit with the English version of 908 came too late for me; I wasn't able to test it today. Otherwise, I can say that the issue wasn't related to the drivers, and it worked perfectly fine today with version 805.4. When I press the "Turbo" button on the (German) 908, I receive the message "Turbo mode not supported by the diagnostic system!" and the button then turns grayed out.
I will report on the English 908 exam in a few days.

Greetings.

Hm... what diagnostic hardware do you have? Please send customer data via private message.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello,

As previously clarified via private message, I will be using the semi-professional version. CAN hardware.
With the English software, the turbo function also doesn't work, displaying the message "Turbo Mode not supported by Interface!". Only after this error message does the turbo button become grayed out.
"Additionally, I noticed something regarding the English version." "Enable the option to gray out the extended measurement blocks; however, this is acceptable in the German version."

Greetings.

Hi,

The extended measurement data blocks are only available if a label file exists for the respective control unit (STG). The issue regarding the 'turbo button' has been forwarded.

Best regards, Rainer.

Is the download directly from Ross-Tech, or is there a version somewhere on this site that is constantly updated for customers?

Hi Christian,

Obviously, you have disabled your newsletter, or the diagnostic computer does not have internet access. icon_cool.gif
The installation package is, as always, available for download from the customer account on the shop's website.

Best regards, Rainer.

Sure, here's the translation:

"Go ahead and laugh, but I was one of the first to install it in Greece while on vacation and deleted the old version."
"That meant I couldn't perform any automatic error diagnostics on my friends' cars."
and the internet was too slow to download the English version at the hotspot.
I promised to do it next year icon_wink.gif.
therefore, always make sure of that icon_smile.gif
Best regards.

Has there been any feedback on this yet?
With version 908.2, the turbo mode still doesn't seem to be working again.

Greetings.

I just tried version 10.5.0, and it updated the firmware of my "cable."
Unfortunately, that doesn't make the turbo mode work either.

What was Ross-Tech's feedback at the time regarding the forwarding of error codes?

Greetings.

Hello,

The behavior appears to be "normal." A new release is coming out soon.

Best regards, Rainer Kaufmann.

Ah, thank you. Will this fix it and make it work again? Or was this function deliberately discontinued?
Is it only the USB Micro CAN cable that is affected, or also other cables? (I'm surprised that no one else is mentioning this.)

Greetings.

The Micro-CAN interfaces did not support turbo mode.
This is exclusively reserved for HEX-CAN interfaces.
which is also woven in a similar way.

In one of the earlier versions, this distinction was made, incorrectly.
Not applicable; all newer versions have been corrected accordingly.

Thank you for the "resolution"! Thanks to the information about the restriction to the Micro-CAN, I was able to find the relevant threads.
Manually adjusting the connection parameters would likely increase the speed again, but there have also been reports of connection errors, so I'd rather stick with the parameters that the software itself selects. If I want to log data faster, I'll just use the older software version, where the turbo mode still works.
By the way, thankfully, the update of my interface to v1.15 didn't introduce any limitations, although the old software still recognizes it as v1.06.

Greetings.
