The log looks good based on the values it shows.
What is missing are the maximum impact angles.
I am surprised by the minute specification in the setpoint value of 7°34' for the lag time.
Perhaps the car is pulling slightly to the right due to the rear axle alignment (the rear axle is responsible for steering). However, I wouldn't change anything there without a specific reason.
Perhaps you could let someone else drive the car without any preconceived notions? (ADAC inspector).

Hmm, yes, I suppose I'll have to do it...
I'm surprised that I can't find any other people who are experiencing the same thing.
You definitely notice it on the highway. The faster you drive, the harder it becomes. That would be normal. But it's especially noticeable when turning right, as it feels heavier. You mostly notice it in long curves on the highway. It's worst when these curves require a sharper turn because you need more steering angle. Turning right feels like you're pushing against resistance. Turning left definitely doesn't feel that way.
By the way, VW didn't exactly get a great steering wheel either; it still pulls slightly to the left when driving straight. Even if I hold the steering wheel perfectly straight at 50 km/h (0° according to the steering angle sensor), the car drifts to the right.

Hi there,
Is the camber still as asymmetrical on the VA (front axle)? I think that might be a reason. Possibly also in connection with certain tire profiles. I once had an asymmetry in the camber on my Spider, where the restoring forces were much higher in one direction than in the other. But it's a completely different wheel suspension system.
Maybe you should get it checked at a reputable tire shop sometime. They generally do a good job with that.
Best regards from Berlin.

Hello from Lilienthal.
Without knowing what's installed in your car, here's a thought:
You wrote that the steering is electric.
I'm familiar with the electric power steering systems from Renault, where the control unit adjusts the straight-line stability and return forces based on the steering angle sensor.
So, the control unit constantly tries to straighten the steering, i.e., to bring it to a steering angle of 0° (and does so with increasing force depending on the speed). This is what trail would do in conventional steering systems.
Of course, the prerequisite is that the steering wheel is straight when the steering angle sensor reads 0 degrees, and that the car then drives straight, which doesn't seem to be the case for you...
Some steering systems in Renault vehicles can be calibrated, meaning the zero point can be adjusted or a deviation corrected.
Is it possible to read the steering angle sensor using VCDS, and then set a different reference point than "steering wheel straight," specifically setting it to the position where the car drives straight ahead?
Just as a temporary solution for testing, someone should surely be able to get a proper wheel alignment and adjustment done afterwards, even with a straight steering wheel.

Thank you for the answers.
The alignment was adjusted at VW, but I don't have a measurement report yet. According to the 'friendly' mechanic, the alignment was completely out of adjustment. However, I can't see any difference from before.
I've also tried using the steering angle sensor. You can recalibrate the steering angle sensor, but I don't think that will change the zero position here.
The VCDS wiki describes how to adjust the steering angle sensor. The instructions say to first turn the steering wheel slightly to the left, then to the right, and then drive a few meters straight ahead. I tried holding the steering wheel slightly to the left, but unfortunately, it didn't work.

I also had problems for a long time with uneven pull on the G string. Calibration didn't help, and a setup was done, but everything turned out to be normal.
After replacing the battery, the problem disappeared as if by magic. Before that, the vehicle was constantly receiving battery voltage.
Did you disconnect the battery during the previous work? If not, it might be worth trying. Gruß

Thank you for your answers, but unfortunately, I just wasted another 2 hours of my life.
I initially disconnected the battery. Unfortunately, that didn't work.
Then, I used VCDS to perform the zero offset adjustment for the steering angle sensor in the braking electronics. For some reason, the ESP light wouldn't turn off. It only went out after I accessed the power steering control unit. In the power steering control unit, I also performed the zero offset adjustment, but that didn't work either.
I'm surprised that one expert said there was definitely something wrong, while the other (who I assume is the owner) was rude to me and claimed everything was fine.
'I received an email from Volkswagen about a month ago, and I just happened to get a reply this afternoon. They now want all my data. I'm curious to see when I'll receive the next response.'
I would really prefer to sell this car; the steering is so annoying.

I just had a friend drive it for a bit, and even he started to notice the problem after a short time.
I will call the mechanic again on Monday. If that doesn't solve the problem, I will take my car to a different workshop.

I'm surprised that your workshop hasn't already contacted the manufacturer; it was long overdue. Let Volkswagen handle it, and stick with one workshop, otherwise things will become completely chaotic.
I wouldn't try to further modify the steering electronics (or anything similar); at most, you could read out values. Changes usually leave traces, and that puts you in a position where you have to prove that you caused the error.
By the way, the Ross-Tech Wiki describes the zero offset procedure for the 1K model, not the 6K model.
What you should provide us with: An AutoCAD drawing and the latest survey report.

There are no error codes stored in the car's diagnostic system.
I just called Volkswagen, and they need to check if it's in the system, etc. I got connected to the wrong department again. Looks like I have to wait until Monday.
If a reasonable solution is not proposed by Monday, I will insist on receiving written confirmation that the car is in good condition or up to current standards, or whatever the case may be, because I no longer want the car in its current state.

It doesn't matter whether there are any error codes stored in the overall scan; what matters is which control units are installed and with what coding.
So, I'm repeating my request, and this also applies to the most recent survey report.
We can only help if you provide us with data.

Thank you for the reply. I'm having trouble with the Autoscan feature right now because my VCDS device isn't available at the moment.
The master craftsman was supposed to be back from the workshop today, but I've called three times and each time I've been told that someone would call me back. Nothing has happened so far. It's a shame.
And I still don't have a solution, and I'm going crazy.

The new transmission is installed, but there's no improvement. What can you say about that? I'm at my wit's end.

Can this be caused by a track that isn't perfectly aligned?
'The steering rack and strut mounts have now been replaced, and I personally replaced the control arm bushings (those large rubber pieces). I'm not sure what else it could be.'
I'm now facing the problem that the workshop didn't save the log file... for some reason.
I really need to go to a tire shop sometime. There are a few good ones around here, but they're charging about 130 euros for an alignment.
