Hello,

1Z / 43,000 km / 15 months / 0 / 0

It's a real diesel engine, not some over-engineered 'PD garbage.'

Hello.

Hi.

a 15-month-old 1Z icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

I think it was replaced around 1988 by the Generation ALH, or possibly renamed to AHU even earlier icon_eek.gif.

Hi,

1988 icon_wink.gif) More likely 1998, or even a little earlier, I think, because in my Polo 6N book, the AHU or ALE engines appear starting in 1/97, while the ALH appears starting in 10/99.

I suspect that Golfdriver only provided information about his trips, so the next question would be about the age of the car and the total mileage.

Otherwise, I'll do a complete evaluation of the results these days, as the number of visitors has decreased significantly.

Best regards,

Jan.

Sorry, I thought you were only supposed to provide information about vehicles you personally drove with diesel fuel.

Total performance:
190,000 km / 92 months / 0 / 0 (absolutely no problems!!!!!)

Are you satisfied now???

Hi,

And between the ALH and AHU engines, there is the ALE (wastegate TDI 66kw with Euro 3!).

Engine AHF, 90,000 km, no damage, 39 months.
Two unavoidable accidents on the highway, I don't think those count icon_rolleyes.gif.

Hi Jan,
I have another one:
Audi 80, engine code 1Z / 124,000 km / 103 months / 1 minor accident / 0 major accidents.

The minor damage was a faulty (or possibly just dirty) mass airflow sensor.
Do you want to count them icon_question.gif?

Best regards, Rudi.

AJM, 16000, 5 months, 1, 0, 20000, 21 months.

--> Stuck/Seized VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry), as the previous owner only drove approximately 4500 km in 16 months.
Then it's a total loss.

AJM, 22000, 8 months, 0, 0, 81000, 25 months

Hi everyone,

It's good that data is flowing again icon_wink.gif).

When a worthwhile amount of "new" content is available, there will be another evaluation.

Otherwise, to ensure this information is also present in this thread, the evaluation from May 18th can be found here:
