Hi,
I have a question about an error message I encountered on a predecessor to the current RS4, specifically the "old" Biturbo model (with a chip upgrade to 420 hp).
Error 16502: Coolant temperature sensor (G62) signal too high, intermittent, P0118-35-10.
Symptom: Intermittent hard jolting and misfires at full throttle

The engine starts extremely poorly when it's lukewarm, and then revs up to very high RPMs

(The error message and symptom seem to match.)
A friend of mine has this part and drives around with it despite this defect (which I think is quite unreasonable). His offer is unbeatable: I get to source and replace the sensor for him, and I get to drive it again.
Where is the sender located? Does anyone have the part number?
Regards,
