Hello,
In my used Audi A6, manufactured in 1998, there is an original hands-free system installed. Originally, the speaker was supposed to be located in the center armrest. Now, here's my problem:
The center console, including the armrest, has been replaced, so the headphone jack in the armrest is no longer present. There is still a connector in the center console (near or behind the handbrake) for the hands-free system. Subsequently, I purchased an original adapter set from Audi, which is intended for an original Audi hands-free system, designated as '9zf.'
Unfortunately, the connectors don't match!
Could it be that there was originally a connecting cable between the center armrest and the center console, which is missing in my car? Is the 9zf adapter set connected in the center armrest?
Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
Best regards,
Achim
