Starting difficulties/high fuel consumption; cleaned after MSW (Municipal Solid Waste) processing

I'm having the following problem with my Seat Ibiza AFN (198,000 km).

Three weeks ago, I finally decided to open my HDP (High Dynamic Range Picture) settings because the constant flickering and dimming in the combination mode was really starting to annoy me.
Following the excellent instructions found on this platform, I proceeded accordingly.

'During the cleaning process, I didn't notice anything unusual; what I mean is, I didn't detect any play or looseness in the bearing, as far as I could tell *g*.'
However, I did have some small debris, so I could fully understand the problem with the pump. Then, everything went back into place, and I used VAG-COM to adjust it until it worked properly.
Actually, nothing has changed; the values are the same as before.

Now, I'm in a warm place, but the real problem is the savings issue that existed before.
The pump did not experience any disassembly.
I also have an increased fuel consumption of about 1 liter (not according to the MFA display, but actually measured using a reliable fuel measuring device) .

'Now, of course, I don't know where to start!' Can you help me?

I don't have that kind of insider tip.
On the one hand, of course, the question arises whether the increased fuel consumption might not have been caused by a different route, driving style, or other factors (a good 1 liter is certainly a lot).
On the other hand, it would be helpful to know exactly how you determined the quantity (using VAG-COM)? Did you also have comparison values from a multimeter? Of course, it's less precise, but it might also be interesting for verification.

Ultimately, if the increased consumption is not caused by other factors, it must be related to the quantity adjustment. Perhaps just run it again or correct it.

As I mentioned above, I reset the MSW using VCDS, and the conditions for the reset were identical to those used during the initial read-out process before the repair.

Warm starts are just awful.
I had considered other options before, but simply installing one of those would be too expensive for me, and in the end, it wasn't worth it.
