Test LDR Pressure Canister

How can I check the pressure sensor of the turbocharger control system? I have a feeling that it might be stuck! Shouldn't the rod that comes out of the sensor move when accelerating hard?

From your post about the top speed, I gather that you have a 1Z engine.
This is important for the operation of the turbocharger pressure control system.
In principle, the maximum boost pressure in turbocharged diesel engines is only achieved under full load conditions.
Therefore, it is perfectly normal that when you accelerate while idling, there will be little or no change in the boost pressure limiter, and you cannot test the pressure sensor in this way.
Just disconnect the pressure hose from the can and apply pressure to it, for example with a bicycle pump. You'll likely have a better sense of whether there's an obstruction in this way than any other method.
