Can anyone tell me where I can find a used set of fuel injectors at a reasonable price?
My A6 has now reached 235,000 km, but it's starting to make concerning noises after I've driven about 1 km. After another 10 km or so, this knocking sound almost disappears, unless the engine is idling for a while, for example, at a traffic light. Can anyone help me with this?

Wrong forum, boosting it up.
Forget about using used nozzles; if you're going to replace them, use new ones. Rainer can help you with that if you don't want to disassemble the nozzle holders yourself.
Are you sure it's the injectors? It could also be the timing chain, which is occasionally delivering the signal late, causing premature injection. It's best to replace the timing chain. It might cost a bit more, but it's definitely worth it. You'll be amazed at how little smoke it produces afterward, and the fuel consumption should also decrease.

Yep, in this case, first check the start of the injection process while the vehicle is in motion.
Best regards, Rainer.

Hi,
The concerning noises are usually caused by a faulty vacuum pump or plunger in the 5ender.
Press the brake pedal a few times in a row when you hear that noise; it might go away.
Best regards from Berlin.
