Climatronic Error: Troubleshooting & Solutions:?:

Hello everyone,
Today, while 'browsing' the Climatronic channels of my A3 TDI, I noticed that error channel 1 is displaying a value of 5.4. Am I correct in assuming that this indicates a fault with the external temperature sensor located on the bumper, specifically a 'sporadic open circuit / short circuit to positive'? However, channel 59 (temperature sensor on the bumper) is showing a plausible value (18°C).
Should I take it to the workshop because of that?
I've also noticed that the Climatronic system has a total of 89 channels. According to the list I have, it should only have 72 channels (or 82 channels for the A4 Climatronic).
Was wurde an der Climatronic geändert?
