Hello,

"Today I installed new injectors (0.216 size) in my AFN engine. Before that, I went to a Bosch service center to have the old injectors pressure-tested for safety. The opening pressure was 200 bar (which was the pressure of the old injectors from the 1Z engine)."
Two were completely fine, and two initially dripped a little, but then recovered after being pressed a few times. In the end, all of them were spraying properly.
After the installation, the engine makes a slight noise, which is mainly noticeable when the engine is idling. Do the injectors need to be broken in, or is something wrong? I only revved it up to 2500 RPM initially, and everything seemed fine then, and there was a noticeable increase in power. I haven't done a full power test yet... I'm not sure if everything is okay.

I'm just not sure if that's normal...

I just found a thread where it's described as relatively normal.
What happens if the nozzles aren't seated 100%?

Hi,

I have summarized my experiences, which were very similar, regarding the sound quality after changing the nozzle in the LL (low-latency mode) and in relation to the nozzle position, in the following thread:
