Cause:
In vehicles within the affected vehicle identification number (VIN) ranges, there is a possibility that screws securing the transmission to its housing may loosen during operation. This could lead to the stripping of the internal threads in the transmission housing and, potentially, to the detachment of the transmission from its mount.


Procedure:
Replace the existing transmission console screws.
