VW New Beetle: Program Remote Key Fob

I used the "search" function, but unfortunately, my model is not listed under "VW key fob programming."

How do I program a new key for a VW New Beetle 9c (1.8T, 150 hp)?

The key turns, the engine starts, but then immediately dies.

I have another question, and I'm sorry to bother you .

The key can perform the following functions:

Open.
Close.
Open the trunk only.

By holding down the "Open" button for an extended period, the windows do not go down, and the same applies to the "Close" button; the windows do not go up.
Is it possible to learn this somewhere or have it reprogrammed?

The ability to raise or lower the windows via the car's infotainment system needs to be supported by the vehicle itself; unfortunately, my A3 8PA doesn't have that feature.

No, you need the PIN. First, determine which generation of WFS your car uses and whether you have a corresponding key fob on your keychain.

Okay, I don't have a Beetle key fob on my keychain because I bought the Beetle used, and it didn't come with one.

I just checked the Caddy, and there's a black plastic piece with a 7-digit number on it, which seems to be the PIN for that Caddy.

What are specialized tools?

Yes, I understand that it's related to theft, but I would have preferred to do it myself. Partly to save costs, and partly to learn how to do it.
