I want to install a strut tower brace on the front axle of my vehicle. This brace will be bolted to the strut towers with three bolts each. To prevent the body from rusting around the drilled holes, I need to protect it adequately against corrosion. Is standard rust protection spray from a hardware store sufficient, or do I need something special? I will definitely apply some undercoating underneath.
