Fuel Shut-Off Valve Compatible with VP37 ESPs

It's probably that the fuel shut-off valve is defective in my car.
(Please don't be too harsh if I'm wrong, but I believe this is also sometimes referred to as an ELAB and sits on top of the distributor head of the ESP?)
Do you happen to know if the valves in different VP 37 ESPs are the same? I'm looking for one for a 5-cylinder ACV ESP, and I can't think of any reason why they would be different from a construction point of view .

You mean the "screw" at the top of the high-pressure part where the single cable connects? That's the electric shut-off valve, or ELAB for short. It's not just the same on VP36/VP37 models; some from a VP4 might also work. I'd have to look up the exact number now, but I'm too lazy to do that right now. Besides, the flood of pump numbers where this part is installed would probably overwhelm you . It's just a solenoid that pulls up a rubber stopper.

What is he doing that he shouldn't be doing?

The car won't start and was experiencing power interruptions beforehand.
The error message in the control unit previously indicated "Fuel shut-off valve defective."
