Audi A6 Cold Start: Idle Speed Issues

When I start my Audi A6 (AEL, 1995) in the morning (cold start), the idle speed fluctuates between 1000 and 750 rpm, and it's difficult to start (it seems like only some cylinders are firing properly).

I tried with:
* double pre-heating (I'm not sure about this term in English )
* Adjusting the timing slightly higher than the standard values (using the VAGCOM TDI timing tool).
* accelerating slightly during startup.

But nothing seems to help .

Could this problem be related to G80 Implausible Signal (AEL)?

Are you sure all the glow plugs are working properly and heating up well?
Are the wires as easily accessible as they are in other TDIs? The 1Z model allows you to easily unplug the wire (it's actually a metal-rubber piece) simply by pulling it off the glow plugs.

If the AEL (Airbag Early Learning) system permits it, try to remove the spark plug and measure its resistance. It should be at 0.8 Ohms when the engine and spark plug are cold.

After 11 years, one or more spark plugs may fail, leading to cold start problems that typically only occur during the winter.

I already checked them, but using a simple light bulb .
I will check them tomorrow using a tester, and I will post the inspection result here .

For 4 plugs, the tester reports a resistance of 0.8 ohms, while for the remaining plug, it reports 0.7 ohms.
