I thought the ignition power was already connected to the DIN radio connector.
I certainly never had to install an extra cable for my own cars.

Unfortunately, I've lost the contact information for the person at ZAS.

Now I need a new power cable (with a fuse) so that I don't have to constantly replace the ZAS (Zero-Crossing Amplifier).

It's a common problem with Golf 3 models.

Yes, it's a G3 issue. However, the contact costs only about EUR 20. Having a constant connection is good; my 1993 model still has the original ZAS. However, if the problem is caused by your radio (drawing too much power from that line), you can still maintain the function (after installing a new ZAS) if you use that line as a control voltage for a relay.
