AJM! How much more power can it handle?

Hallo, I would like to have my PD engine tuned, I have the AJM 85kW/115PS engine. How many horsepower can I get out of it while still keeping the engine durable? The tuning options offered by the tuners range from 136PS to 161PS!!! Who has experience with the engine?

I had my 115hp PD-TDI tuned by Oettinger about 2.5 years ago. At that time, the car had about 31,000km on the odometer, and it's still running perfectly! I now have approximately 103,000 kilometers on the odometer.

I had it tuned to around 145 hp and 350 Nm. It ran much better than stock. According to the speedometer, it could reach 220 km/h on the straight. It ran much smoother and quieter than in the series, and the consumption remained the same.

Approximately 150 hp and 370 Nm for over a year. Fuel consumption unchanged (6 liters in the Audi A4). Runs perfectly with almost no problems. Only the front tires are wearing down like a rubber eraser.

First, check if you have the 115hp TDI with either 285 or 310nm!

...with the 310 model, you can get a bit more Nm and PS out of it...

285 Nm!

Regarding this, the gearbox is not designed for such high torque values - therefore, it is likely that VW has also reduced its performance through software. In your situation, I would be very cautious about tuning, especially with high torques >320 Nm.

You definitely won't be writing nonsense, and I can't think of any other reason for the lower torque.
The tuner utilizes the spare capacity of the components. In my case, it has lasted for about 20,000 km, and the car is driven very often with the accelerator pedal fully depressed. And the 370 Nm is easily understandable. In 2nd gear, the ASR light flashes continuously when you give full throttle. I just hope that nothing breaks!

340NM is probably fine, but beyond that, caution is advised.

I would like to call a reputable tuner and ask them what differences they make when tuning between 285nm and 310nm.

Nice rims, I really like them. And great table! It actually calmed me down, knowing that other tuners are offering 370 Nm!! I think it will be enough for me. My wife drives the car, and unfortunately, I have no influence on her driving style. She also tends to accelerate very aggressively...
What do the tuners say about 285 - 310 Nm? As far as I know, one of my employees is receiving a bonus.
