Hello.
I installed an AKE (turbocharger) in my T3. The engine originally came with an automatic transmission, but I'm using a Porsche gearbox. I've fixed the issues related to the crankshaft sensor (it took about 4 months), and the engine runs well. However, I think it's running in limp mode because the acceleration with a maximum boost pressure of 0.7 bar is not satisfactory. It feels like it's pulling like chewing gum. I took it directly to Audi, and they couldn't find anything specific, except that I have error codes stored that they can't clear (fuel injector), which, according to Audi, is not normal.
Question:
Is there anyone here who is an expert and can help me with my car and take a look at it? Of course, not for free.
Which tuner is capable of reprogramming the engine control unit (ECU) and optimizing it for the specific car?
Best regards and thank you.
Mike.

A faulty injector control valve does not trigger the emergency mode, and the VP44 pump does not necessarily require it.
I'm not really knowledgeable about engine control units (ECUs), but usually, they can be adapted to either manual or automatic transmissions. So, it's not really proper programming. As far as I know, the engine and transmission control units communicate in the A6. If the automatic transmission isn't present and therefore not sending any signals, that could potentially be the reason for the limp-home mode.
Perhaps this question would be better suited for the "Engine Control Units and Diagnostics" forum. Gruß Christian

Thanks for moving it. The issue with the transmission could certainly be related. Try to get a control unit from a similar vehicle. To do this, I need to remove the old one so that Audi can determine a comparable vehicle type.

You can usually reprogram that from the automatic transmission. If that doesn't work, reflashing it is also sufficient . You don't necessarily need a new control unit for that.

Which brings us back to the question of who would do something like that (reflashing the device).
Thank you for your help.
