Hi

My Trekker is driving me crazy.
My icon_smile.gif is very diligent in trying to teach the dog proper manners, but the interior keeps inventing new things.

Currently, it's somewhere under the defrost vents - that is, the grille that ventilates the windshield.

The icon_smile.gif has already installed the that was attached to the control panel, but NOT the individual that was not available separately - but I was quite sure about that.

Normally, you drive for about 5 minutes, and then each suspension wave (in combination with the Sportline suspension) makes a "knack" sound. If it gets really bad, even the otherwise very refined engine can produce a "knrnrnrnrnrnrnrnks" sound.

It sounds like a Climatronic button that is either opening or has some play in its mechanism.


Has anyone experienced similar occurrences or, specifically, heard anything related to 3C before?

Right there, where it snaps, is one of the clips 8E0 857 117.

Does anyone have a picture of a 3C WITHOUT a control panel?

Then I could better visualize the internal workings and work more effectively.
Radio and the glove compartment were already outside, when I upgraded the footwell lights.

Unfortunately, the exact "problem area" is not very clear.

This thing is driving me crazy.

Now I've managed to wedge a piece of material between the disc and the control panel, and the rattling has stopped.

Now, with strong ground irregularities, it "knacks" to the LEFT! (but only much, much less often and slightly quieter). Nevertheless, you can sometimes simulate it by hitting the gear lever.

If anyone has a TPL or idea... please share it icon_smile.gif

Okay,

New theory:
Maybe it's the airbag bracket frame, which is secured to the dashboard with self-locking nuts.

The airbag can be removed with the built-in dashboard... this is the next step.
