I did a simple test earlier.

A6 Avant TDI V6, 110 kW.

1. Test

3. Speed: 1000 revolutions per minute.
LMM connected.
Full throttle up to 3000 RPM.
Time: 15.2 seconds.
Acceleration is steady and gradual until approximately 2500 RPM, then there's a brief, sudden surge for about 1 second, followed by an abrupt end.

2. Test.

LMM connector disconnected (emergency program displayed).
3. Speed: 1000 revolutions per minute.
Full throttle up to 3000 RPM.
Time: 14.5 seconds.
Acceleration is slow but absolutely constant.

I think the LMM is a pain in the ass.

Does anyone know where I can find this thing for a cheaper price than at Audi?

It would be great if I had some benchmark values.
Can someone with a 150 HP A6 TDI Avant please try the same test? icon_rolleyes.gif

Hello Johannes!

I also have an Audi A6 V6 IDI Avant, manufactured in 1998.
I haven't yet checked the times on my own equipment. I also haven't driven without a mass airflow sensor (MAF). The only thing that's consistent for me is this 'jerk' at 2500 RPM. This sudden surge also seems strange to me, and that's why I was once at an Audi workshop. There, after a short test drive, they told me 'that's how it should be'... icon_cry.gif
I finally got a cable for my laptop recently, so I can now check the values myself. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure which values are relevant to this problem and which channel they correspond to. If anyone knows, please email me!

'Thank you!'

Best regards from Mainz.

DENNIS
