AFN only accepts gas up to 1500 RPM after starting

Hi...

Here's the problem:
After I converted my Passat 35i VR6 Syncro to a TDI Syncro, I'm experiencing the following problem.

After starting the engine, it only revs up to approximately 1500 RPM. I can press the accelerator pedal all the way down, but it stays at 1500 RPM. It only starts accelerating normally after I've completely let off the gas and then press the gas pedal again.

"The error memory indicates 'On-board voltage, terminal 30 - implausible signal'."

How can I fix this error, or is this entry even related to my problem? My friend has a Corrado TDI with the same issue. Only he doesn't have the "terminal 30" error.

The engine is a 96 AFN model with a GT1749VA turbocharger and 0.230 injectors. The software is genuine.

Hi Sven!

It sounds extremely like an "emergency braking" situation.
If the MSG (Module for Steering and Gas) detects both brake pedal actuation (via the dual switch) and a driver load request greater than 0% (essentially, pressing the accelerator), then the phenomenon you described will occur.

Please check the (additional) wiring connected to the MSG (Modular Service Gateway) that was necessarily replaced on the TDI.

You're absolutely right, my car does that when I press the brake and then the accelerator. It then runs at 1500 RPM and stays there. If I release the accelerator and press the brake again, it goes higher. Check the brake switch, wiring, and control unit, as mentioned before.
