Rear brake calipers, difference? Audi A3 8L, year of manufacture 1998->2002

Hello everyone,

I now have an Audi A3, type 8L, manufactured in 1998, with a 1.6 liter gasoline engine and 101 horsepower. It has been converted to run on LPG, and it is not equipped with all-wheel drive (4Motion).
Unfortunately, the rear brake calipers are completely worn out. I could get used ones from a good acquaintance for an Audi A3, type 8L, with a 130HP PD engine, manufactured in 2002, which is also not a 4Motion model.

After searching through well-known online retailers, I noticed that products were only available until the year 2000.
Can someone tell me what the differences are compared to the newer model, or are they compatible with each other?

The backing plates are the same, but the hand rests are different.

I suspect that they were changed because of the constant .

Then one would expect that the old ones would be replaced by the new ones, but no, there are actually two different types, one for going up and one for going down.
