Headlight Adjustment Repair: How To Fix?

"I repeatedly experience issues with the headlight range adjustment in my A6 2.5 TDI, manufactured in 2002, especially when it's wet. The warning light appears briefly on the dashboard, and the error memory indicates a short circuit to ground for the front and rear adjustment motors, occurring sporadically. All the components are in good condition. The problem definitely originates from the connector of the sensors on the axles, as it's always wet inside the connectors. Since the connectors have a specific shape, I need to obtain original ones. However, I'm unsure about the exact procedure and what parts I need. Most importantly, do I need a special crimping tool or anything else? (Perhaps someone could briefly list the parts I need.)"

Hi, you'll need the respective connector housing and the cable puller to get the cables out of the housing without damaging them. That's pretty much all there is to it.

A very thin screwdriver that fits through will work just as well!
