Good news (for me): The doors will be replaced, and the edge of the roof will also be repaired.
Unfortunately, the repair to the door was incorrectly done by the workshop back then (or so I understood). They used the wrong type of rust primer (red), which supposedly hasn't been allowed to be used since 2005.

You've been lucky again. But that rust issue on the roof is a real problem with the A3. I've seen some really bad cases, especially with those very early models from '96.
