I have the following problem: My car no longer starts!
Initially, my car only started poorly when it was cold, and white smoke always came out, but only when starting. Later, it also started poorly when it was warmer.
Now it won't start at all. Only white smoke comes out of the exhaust.
It must have something to do with the fuel injection.

I have already checked several things:
-Valve timing is correct
-Fuel injector removed, it is spraying
-Read error codes, nothing found
-Spark plugs replaced

It is an Audi 80 1.9 TDI 1Z

However, based on your error description, I suspect a loose KW screw. Try searching for "KW screw" using the search function. This should provide plenty of reading material.

A mechanic did this, he checked the timing. He also changes the timing belt every day, etc.

Today I installed new fuel injector nozzles and tried to start it, but it doesn't start, just smokes white from the exhaust.
I rechecked the timing myself, but isn't it true that the fuel pumps are very sensitive on this engine?
The pin doesn't go in, but it's very tight, and the pin on the valve cover only goes in halfway.
I know that the timing needs to be set, but shouldn't it still start if it's possible, even if it runs poorly?

The notch on the KW wheel is bent and the lower disc is no longer round. The few 1/10mm have only a slight influence on the timing belt tension.
