HI.
When does the BLS need to "take a break" or "go on leave"?
I'm considering a G5 Tour (1.5 years old, 115,000 km, so not really short distances ).
Does it have to be at 150 or earlier?
Thank you.

What should you be paying? I was offered a BLS G V Tour in metallic grey from 2007 with 5000 km, and I'm actually considering it... 105 hp is enough, you know .

The person I'm interested in was just standing around. It's a complicated story involving acquaintances. They just want to get rid of the car. It has Climatronic, heated seats, some kind of VW radio (I don't know), 4 doors, and fog lights. It looks pretty good and is practically unused. The price hasn't been set yet. I'll probably sell my iver soon.

Well... out of the over 20,000 km I drive each year, I estimate that 18,000 km are driven at speeds below 100 km/h, so it should be able to handle that. But to be honest, I wouldn't want to give up the ASZ engine, but it's not getting any better. So far, besides the regular inspection, I've only replaced the alternator's freewheel and the brake pads once. That's it... The day will come when I have to replace the rest, and that's when it will make sense to pay attention and do it right. Besides the BPC bus (yes, 174 hp is quite okay), I need the Golf exclusively to get to work... and maybe 105 hp would be enough... perhaps.

Hello,
I am currently trying to sell my Skoda Octavia 4x4 1.9 PD TDI from 2008 (BLS) and have therefore had a vehicle history check done by the Austrian ADAC (ÖAMTC).
The car has 92,200 km on the odometer. The inspection report states that the timing belt should have been replaced at 90,000 km. The service booklet (which was unfortunately not in the vehicle) also mentions inspection and possible replacement of the timing belt at 90,000 km, and further down, replacement of the timing belt at 150,000 km. The timing belt was also inspected at 85,000 km and found to be in good condition, but "ÖADAC" insists on the 90,000 km mark because, allegedly, it is recorded in their software under the engine number.
What should I do now? Should I get a letter from the service center confirming that the correct interval is 150,000 km instead of 90,000 km? Opel Vivaro Kombi, 2.0 CDTI 110kW BlueHDI (MKB: AH01), BJ 2020

Yes, if you want to be 100% sure, because the maintenance intervals sometimes change, especially if there have been premature failures of the components. LG, Onkel BM

When should it be replaced then? In my Golf 5 with a BLS engine and 96 kW, it was replaced at 125,000 km in 2012. Now it has 215,000 km on it. It also still looks good . Seat Leon 3 ST (5F)

It seems to depend on the specific model series. However, it should be stated in the maintenance booklet. At least, in my case, the timing belt was inspected at 90,000 km and then replaced at 150,000 km. Apparently, not every service software reflects this (in my case, the Austrian ADAC). So, it's best to inquire at the dealership. Opel Vivaro Kombi, 2.0 CDTI 110kW BlueHDI (MKB: AH01), BJ 2020

The 150,000 km mark was usually reached with the MJ07 model.
Previously, it was usually 120,000 km. Transparency, Teamwork
