Doku Golf 1J, Problem with the ignition lock (Solution)

After removing the ignition key, the radio remains on.
The comfort lock on the door lock is not functioning, and the doors are not being secured.

Cause:
"S-contact in the ignition starter switch is intermittently sticking."

Solution:
When the ignition is switched on, the remote control should not function due to legal regulations. Therefore, the remote control is disabled when the S-contact on the ignition switch is stuck. In the event of an error, the radio or navigation system remains on. The vehicle can only be locked using the door lock. In this case, the doors are not secured, and the control lamp on the driver's door does not flash. The alarm system is not functioning.

Another possible cause is a partially discharged or defective lithium battery in the radio container. Are the batteries okay, then the control lamp in the radio container will light up clearly.
The wireless key has no indicator light. Because the battery status cannot be determined by measuring the voltage, it is advisable to replace both lithium batteries (3 volts) in case of error. Oxidized or mechanically damaged, dented batteries should generally be replaced.
