Hello,
Can the RKA (Rear Collision Avoidance) system be easily retrofitted to this ABS/ESP system using buttons and coding?
Code: | Adresse 03: Bremsen/ABS Labeldatei: RKS\1K0-907-379-MK60-F.LBL
Teilenummer SW: 1K0 907 379 AC HW: 1K0 907 379 AC
Bauteil: ESP FRONT MK60 0101
Codierung: 0021121
Werkstatt #: WSC 01279

If no one else responds:
Have you tried the encoding yet?
If not: First, try encoding.
If that works: Simply plug a yellow wire into the ABS control unit and connect it to the car body. If you then hear a "ping" from the instrument cluster, I would suggest test driving it. If it works, extend the yellow wire into the interior.
Good luck!

For the Passat, it's "add 2048".
I vaguely remember that in golf, it's not about *setting* a bit, but rather *clearing* it, meaning subtracting something.
Unfortunately, I can't find that guide anymore. I got it from some forum, maybe something like MT or Doppel-Wobber, or something similar.

WOW!!!
No switches!
Simply "re-encode" and then set the basic parameters to 042.

Not that great.
Is the TCU coded for "Caddy," and does it not want to know anything about the RKA ?
