There are various lengths; here are a few examples:
AAZ 1Z AHU AFN engines have a 144 mm [dimension].
1Y has a diameter of 150 mm.

Hi.

I was just thinking about the high building.
I'm building a 16v turbo engine and it has a high-compression block with an 81mm bore and a diesel crankshaft.
'Now, if I install the 144cc pistons and connecting rods, I still have a good 11mm of clearance before reaching top dead center!'
That's why the pistons in a diesel engine have to be designed completely differently.
And I think they would have been able to handle the power just fine.
