Hello, welcome to the forum.
I own a Smart Diesel. The differential pressure sensor on it is now faulty. I have read a lot about this on this forum. It was really helpful! Thank you again for all the contributions!
This allowed me to reprogram the electronics to the sensors using the software, even on my Tiguan. Now, here are two more questions about it.
1. Must the electronics "always" be re-programmed after replacing the sensor, or can it also work without? (Smart)
2. If "yes", can I also do that with my VCDS software on my Smart?

Hallo Udo,

der Sensor sollte sich beim Tiguan (auch beim Smart) theoretisch "von alleine" neu anlernen. Der Offset wird sowieso ständig neu angepasst.
Mit VCDS ist es so, dass nach dem Anlernen die Werte mit neuem Sensor sofort korrekt sind, ansonsten würde der Anpassungsvorgang einige Fahrzyklen erfordern.

Ich vermute, beim Smart ist es ähnlich. Da der Smart mit VCDS wenn nur per OBD2 ansprechbar ist, kann diesbezüglich leider nichts angelernt werden.
