Air Filter: Can It Fit? (Ask the Experts)

Hi everyone,

I urgently need an air filter for my TDI conversion. As far as I know, an original air filter housing doesn't fit in the front of the Rado, so it will have to be positioned towards the mass airflow sensor (MAF). I guess I'll have to get a 'Pils' filter or something similar.
I found this one and wanted to know if it's okay, or if a filter like this might damage my engine, or if it reduces performance.

I'm also happy to be educated if anyone knows which air filter box fits a Corrado with an AFN engine.

Hi, I've always had problems with these types of air filters. The result was always a loss of power and torque, and slightly higher fuel consumption. It's probably best to avoid them.
