Hello,
My AEL has a damaged (between cylinder 4 and 5) exhaust manifold! At eblöd, you can buy a replacement, but after 150,000 km, my manifold is already broken. Therefore, I don't want to buy a used exhaust manifold, but a new one, specifically the 2-piece manifold for the 200 10V (used until 89). This manifold is supposed to be much better and fits any 10V gasoline engine (WR, MB, etc.).
Does the 2-piece exhaust manifold fit the AEL?
Best regards, Rob |

Hi,
The 2-piece manifold comes from KG, MC, or JY. So, the hole image should already fit, but:
1. The channels of the 10V Otto turbines are much larger! Therefore, it results in poor transitions from the head to the valve.
2. The flange of the external wastegate must be closed, or alternatively, the AGR pipe would like to be connected there.
3. The turbocharger flange should not fit. Changing KKK26 to KKK14, and if it doesn't sit perfectly in the same place, I'm looking at a bad situation for the hose.
But that would be interesting!
Best regards,
Holger |
