ROD File Not Found: Troubleshooting Guide

Hello everyone,

I have a new A4 and would like to read the error codes. Unfortunately, I'm getting the error message "Could not find .ROD file for [...] Please send a vehicle auto-scan to Ross-Tech..."

Unfortunately, a car scan is not possible. I'm receiving the error message "Function not supported by gateway."

What can I do here?

I am using VCDS version 15.7.4.

Furthermore, it's quite logical that a car that rolls off the assembly line today cannot be fully supported tomorrow.
