A4 8K SAC Clutch: Replacement & Upgrade

Today, I replaced the idler pulley bearing on my girlfriend's 2008 Audi A4 (engine code CAGA).

I compressed the printing plate on the press by about 8mm and then released it. When reassembling, I did the same thing, but now the clutch is slipping.

Is this a Sachs pressure plate with an internal adjustment mechanism? Is it possible to somehow lock the adjustment ring in place, similar to how it's done with LUK pressure plates?

No. That only works with the LUK version.
