Hello everyone, since I couldn't find anything using the search function, I have a question for the experts.
I have a Passat 35i TDI, model year 1995.
In December, I bought this and had the air conditioner filled with refrigerant. It worked great for about two weeks, but then it stopped working.
After careful examination, it was discovered that the capacitor was leaking, and the dealer eventually replaced it under warranty after much back and forth.
Only now, in my opinion, does the air conditioning system not provide enough cooling power and makes a whistling sound when the engine is turned off.
Before I rush back to the dealer and potentially embarrass myself, I have a question:
What must the exhaust temperature be?
At what fan configuration and speed are the measurements taken?
Where is it being measured?
I suspect that, for cost reasons, they may not have filled the system with the prescribed amount of fluid, and possibly omitted the compressor oil, just as they also omitted the contrast agent.
Thank you in advance.
