I have a Polo here where the right-hand door won't open.
There are no error codes stored in the system's memory.
I've now connected the wires leading to the motor to the connector on the comfort control unit, and I can hear a faint noise, but I still can't open the door.
I tried the same thing on the driver's side, and here the button goes in and pops out.
Does anyone know a trick to get the door open?
I once had a similar issue with an A4 from 2001, but it was on a rear door. I removed the trim panel and then managed to damage the lock. However, that car also didn't have the aluminum cover. VCDS
