Resetting the airbag control unit after deployment

I have a question:

Can a VAG-COM device be used to reset an airbag control unit (module) after it has been triggered?
(of course, after replacing everything that needs to be replaced, such as the airbag and sensors...)
What does the error message in the STG say?
How do you reset it?

Hi,

You cannot reset an airbag control unit (STG) using VAG COM or other diagnostic tools. These safety-critical components should be designed in such a way that it is impossible to use a second one.

Can you ensure that the ignition system is functioning 100%? In our testing labs, we have observed that approximately 25% of airbag control units (ECUs) fail to deploy (or deploy incorrectly) after being triggered and reset.

Stop these dangerous modifications to safety components. Anyone who manipulates these components must be aware that they will be held responsible for the consequences in case of failure (e.g., liability for damages in case of injuries). With the new STG, this responsibility rests solely with the manufacturer!
