Is there a way in KDtataScope to display only specific recorded values (selection)? The software always shows all the values in the log file. While I can select a value for axis determination, all values are still displayed on the graph and scaled accordingly. There is no option for selection.

Also, the program always crashes (without an error message) whenever I try to switch to the 3D view or the raw data mode.

Thank you very much.

I have installed the latest version.

Hi,

Individual values are displayed in the tooltip.
Please post your log file, and I'll take a look to see what's going wrong.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,

Here is the log file.

I want to display the relationship between speed and differential pressure, as well as the relationship between speed and boost pressure, without including the other values in the log file.

Which version of KDataScope are you using?

Aside from the questionable reliability of your log data, everything is working fine on my end.

Hello Rainer. Version 2.22 Build 849.

Windows 10, 64-bit version.

I wasn't concerned about the accuracy of the analysis; rather, the program simply crashes, both in the 3D view and when working with the raw data. There are no error entries in the Event Log.

Hi,

Very strange. The log file is relatively large; could it be that you have extremely limited memory?
Could you please post a Screenshot of your Windows system information?
Can you rule out the possibility of viruses on the computer?

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"LG" is an abbreviation for "Liebe Grüße," which means "Best regards" or "Best wishes" in English.

Hello.

I can't imagine that this computer isn't powerful enough to run this small program.

I can rule out viruses. Does the program have a debug mode that writes a log file to provide at least some clues?

I've also attached a WinDbg file. The program is encountering exception errors, which are being caught in debug mode. Perhaps the software has a problem because I have 64GB of RAM in my computer.

Thank you.

Hi,

64GB is more than enough, and the computer is more than adequate.
Can you generate a crash dump using WinDbg and send it to me?

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,

I already attached WinDbg in my previous post. Unfortunately, it doesn't create a crash log for this error.

"Thank you."

Hello Rainer,

"That's exactly my problem. I've enabled crash logging in the Windows settings, but this application's crash isn't generating a DBG file. It seems the program is catching the error and exiting normally."

That's why I also installed the Windows Debug Tool to try and identify the issue.

I can access your computer using TeamViewer if that would be helpful.

Thank you.

Hello,

I'd be happy to use TeamViewer, preferably in the evening.

Where are the Windows dump files located?
By default, you can find DMP files in the folder C:\WINDOWS\MiniDump
.
Nothing?

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,

Great - I'll send you a private message with the login details. What time would be best for you?

"When the application crashes, no crash log is generated. It appears that the software has a built-in "general error exception" that prevents a real crash. This exception seems to cause the program to terminate "normally." There is no MiniDump file in the directory. I had already searched for it because I wanted to examine it using the debugging tool."

The log I've attached was created by the debugging tool. It displays any error conditions that occur, and it provides the option to bypass those errors.
