I'm going to replace the pre-charge pump on my Haldex V tomorrow.
After refilling the oil, I would like to run the pump for a short time and then check the oil level again – without having to do a lengthy test drive.
Can I use VCDS to briefly run or activate the pump?
I can't find the menu option for that.
P.S. The error that appears in my log file will be gone after the next release/version. It's happened before.
I couldn't get it to work - see the Screenshot from VCDS.
But whatever, I'll check the oil level again tomorrow and make sure it's okay.
Replacing the pump definitely paid off.
The power cable was severely frayed, and the filter was completely clogged. Now, you can't hear any grinding noises anymore when parking or maneuvering (even when turning sharply).

Regards,
Although it was a bit late and I was dealing with an older generation of vehicles, I was able to start the pump on a Golf 4 using the actuator test function.
You can check again to see if it still works here .

I clicked everything here, trying the "on" and "off" options, but nothing worked.
It always just said that.
Although the thread is quite old, but if it hasn't been done yet, to adjust the basic settings of the Haldex pump, the ignition must always be on. If they don't come, these negative messages will appear.
