Hello,
Currently, my Audi A6 4B2 (year 2002) with engine code AYM is experiencing sudden and intermittent failures.
(01) MSG:
18043-P1635 Data bus drive.
Missing message from Klima SG, sporadic occurrence, 35-10.
(02) Transmission electronics:
18265-P1857 End-of-line signal.
Error message from motor SG 35-00.
18161-P1753 Switch for Tiptronic (F189)
implausible signal
(02) ABS-SG
18265-P1857 End-of-line signal.
Error message from motor SG 35-00.
Background:
After driving a few kilometers on the highway, the car's information system (FIS) initially displayed a warning indicating that a LWR sensor had failed. After a short pause and restarting the engine, the warning disappeared, but reappeared after driving a few more kilometers.
Upon arrival at the destination and restarting the engine:
Climate control is not working. The windshield wiper motor needs to be tapped twice to activate, then it wipes once and stops halfway on the third attempt. The Tiptronic transmission shows no response, and the gear indicator is completely red, indicating a transmission fault. The oil sensor has failed according to the instrument cluster (FIS), and the rear sunshade is not functioning.
What has been done so far:
- Disconnected the battery to perform an ECU reset (24 hours).
- Relay checked for functionality.
Still to mention:
The error in the SG transmission:
18161-P1753 Switch for Tiptronic (F189)
implausible signal
It occasionally disappears during the ride, and the manual "Tiptronic" mode becomes available again.
This also applies to the windshield wiper.
Am I correct in assuming that the MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is being phased out here? I suspect this because these errors suddenly appeared. Or could it be a problem with the electrical system, perhaps a voltage issue?
Thank you!
