Good day. The control unit for the left LED daytime running light is defective on my Audi A3 8V1.
Question: Do I also need to code this, and if so, how?

Hello,

When you post an Autoscan result, it shows which control units are installed and their coding.

If a control unit is defective, it may no longer respond to diagnostic requests. Therefore, it is advisable to perform an automotive scan and archive the results after purchasing a vehicle.

Typically, a replacement control unit with the same VAG part number is used, and the coding from the old control unit is transferred to the new one.
